Most of our projects start with a walk around the property. Vincent looks at how water moves, where the sun hits in July, what the HOA wants to see from the street, and how you actually use the space — then sketches a plan that fits the budget you tell us. For bigger projects we can prepare a digital rendering so you can see the layout before a shovel goes in.

What a typical design-and-install project includes

• Bed layout and edging — steel, stone or chop-stone borders that hold a clean line for years.
• Plant selection for North Texas — hollies, yaupons, agaves, sagos, yuccas, Italian cypress, crepe myrtles, seasonal colour — chosen for our clay soil, summer heat and the occasional hard freeze.
• Ground cover — Tejas black gravel, river rock, decomposed granite or mulch, over weed barrier where it makes sense.
• Trees and screening — shade trees, privacy screens and hedges planted at the right depth with root establishment in mind.
• Finishing touches — step-stone paths, tree rings, planter boxes and low-voltage landscape lighting repairs.

How we work

Every project is owner-led. Vincent gives the estimate, picks the material and plants at the nursery, and is on site for the install — usually within days of the go-ahead for smaller jobs. You get one point of contact from the first text to the final walkthrough.

Recent design-and-install work

The Trotter and Owens projects on our projects page are good examples: a front-yard redesign with agave, sago and yucca in Tejas gravel with steel edging, and a backyard with a new walkway, grilling area and low-maintenance stone-edged beds.
